You can extend your policy up to the maximum allowed by your policy type, 18 months if you buy direct or 12 months if you buy via a comparison website.
You’ll only be able to extend if you have not made a claim (and don’t intend to make a claim), don’t have a new health conditions and extend before your policy expires.
When you extend you’ll be able to change your area of cover and most optional extras.
