As our policies are designed for trips starting and ending in the U.K. cover is based on the assumption that you have booked your return trip before you travel. If you haven’t then this won’t impact your cover, however you should be aware of the following:
In the event that you make a claim that requires us to arrange a replacement flight we cover the cost of the fees to rearrange your existing flight, if you don’t have one we’ll deduct the cost of an economy class flight from your claim.
Your policy does not cover any claim where you knew or should reasonably have known of an event leading to the claim at the point you book a trip under the policy. For example if you book your return flight a few days before returning home and it is impacted by strike action that had been declared prior to you booking the flight you’ll have no cover for the associated trip disruption.
